news: ITP expands services

Since joining forces with consulting engineers Royal HaskoningDHV in 2020, ITP has enjoyed significant growth whilst maintaining focus on delivering sustainable transport outcomes for clients. Our team, and our clients, have benefitted from increasing collaboration with Royal HaskoningDHV’s experts in engineering design, modelling, environmental appraisal, road safety and active travel.

By working together, we have strengthened our ability to deliver inspiring projects – both in the UK, and globally – helping us continue to improve the way the world moves.

A fresh approach for 2024… and beyond

Building on this success, and to support ITP’s continued growth, we are taking some exciting steps at the start of 2024:

  • We are expanding the range of services we offer clients, by welcoming Royal HaskoningDHV's Mobility and Infrastructure team under the ITP brand. Our team now numbers over 100 transport planners, researchers, and engineers and we have added knowledge and expertise in road safety, modelling, active travel, Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects/DCO planning, smart mobility and detailed engineering design.
  • Behind the scenes, we are transferring ITP’s business designation and administrative operations to HaskoningDHV UK Ltd. Doing so streamlines our operations, allowing us to deliver a seamless service for our clients and further enhance our range of services.

Speaking of the news, Neil Taylor, ITP’s Managing Director said: “This is a very significant milestone in the company’s progress, affording us the skills and business support experience we need to further expand our offer to clients and continue our recent growth”.

Patrick Hebbard, who has led the Royal HaskoningDHV UK Mobility & Infrastructure team since 2021, added: “We are excited by the closer integration of our teams and the opportunities it presents to enhance our service offer and expand our market reach. We very much look forward to introducing our clients to our extended range of services in 2024 as we continue to work with our partners to deliver sustainable transport solutions”.

    Business as usual

These changes are an exciting step for ITP, helping us introduce new ways of working internally. Externally, clients will continue to work with familiar teams providing independent advice, and the approach to current projects will not be significantly different.

    In practical terms:

    • Our clients will continue to work with familiar dedicated industry-leading people and teams.
    • We will provide a wider range of technical services, which we are organising into Practices, the details of which we’ll be sharing on the ITP website in the near future.
    • Our office locations will be the same; with ITP’s brand name, industry presence, website, LinkedIn and X profiles also remaining unchanged.
    • You may notice subtle changes to the team’s email addresses and some office contact numbers are changing, but our team’s existing emails and mobile numbers will continue to operate as usual.

All current clients have received notice of any changes relating to contracts and invoices.

Should you have any questions, please reach out to your existing contact at ITP or contact either Neil Taylor (neil.c.taylor@itp.rhdhv.com) or Patrick Hebbard (patrick.hebbard@itp.rhdhv.com).
