news: ITP helps unlock further funding

ITP recently worked with Nottingham City Council to develop the economic case, including appraisal of costs and benefits, for their Levelling Up Fund bid. Our involvement in this mean we've now helped local authorities secure over £317 million in funding since 2012.

We're delighted to have supported the City Council in unlocking £18m, which will enable them to make a large number of local street repairs, delivered as part of improvements to neighbourhood-level walking and cycling links. These links will feed into the city’s major cycle network and public realm improvements that are being delivered through DfT’s Transforming Cities Fund.

In addition to upgrading local transport, local authorities receiving funding will invest in regenerating town centre, high streets, and cultural and heritage assets. We wish all local authorities the best with their submissions for tranche 2 next year when further funding is up for grabs!

If you'd like to find out more about how we can support with your Levelling Up Fund bid, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
