news: Lead our growing modelling team

We are seeking an experienced transport modeller to manage ITP's growing portfolio of domestic and international modelling projects.
This exciting opportunity has arisen due to a growing demand from our public and private sector clients lead on the modeling components of large-scale transport projects. We need an experienced modeller to oversee these projects and to develop, mentor and inspire the next generation of modellers within the company to create a visionary modelling team of the future.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills/experience:
- Experience in developing micro-simulation models to address complex sustainable transport challenges
- Knowledge of transport policy, appraisal, business case and associated techniques
- Proven ‘hands-on’ ability to build, calibrate and validate transport models (micro and macro)
- An understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of different modelling software
- A keen interest in furthering their own professional development by applying transport models in creative ways to support more sustainable outcomes
- Leadership and management skills
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
- Excellent report-writing skills
- TPP qualified (or similar)
