ITP’s international reputation is as high as our UK reputation. We have a history of important international work on research projects, strategy development and provision of integrated transport planning advice.

Outside of the UK we recognise, even more so, the crucial relationship between consultant, client and transport user; where cultural context must be learnt and acceptance not automatically assumed. Across Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia we have sought to bring our user needs orientated approach to develop tailored locally acceptable solutions that are both practical and readily implemented. Skill transfer and institutional capacity building are as much part of our overseas work as infrastructure and strategy development.
