Bus Rapid Transit

From conception ITP has been at the forefront of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) from the development of the Northampton RTS in the late 1990's through to research that developed a new breed of rubber tyred vehicles across Europe. Our expertise ranges from classic BRT development in Ghana and Nigeria to a more pragmatic approach in the UK where focus has been upon delivering priority where needed alongside quality improvements. What is common to all, however, is the treatment of public transport as a cohesive system rather than a collection of disaggregated parts.
