Project Experience
Worcestershire County Council - ITP has undertaken the Accessibility Analysis and Strategy to support the second Local Transport Plan. This has involved:
| |
•
•
•
• |
Stage 1 and 2 technical mapping audits - at the Countywide and local level for accessibility to key service areas
Stakeholder workshop facilitation - to engage support for the emerging issues
Action Plan Development - including clear internal and partner commitments
Evaluation - establishing a long term evaluation framework and appraising the emerging options. |
The work has received strong praise for its inclusive approach, with the principles closely embedded within the second LTP. A letter of support from all of the Worcestershire Primary Care Trusts and District Councils endorse the consensus achieved throughout the study. ITP is continuing to work with the County Council on the delivery of the accessibility partnership.
Luton Borough Council - ITP has advised Luton Borough Council on the development of their first Accessibility Strategy for the conurbation, including technical guidance on the methodology and approach and the facilitation of stakeholder workshops. The emerging priorities have been adopted for inclusion within the investment and delivery programme set out within the second Local Transport Plan.
Bracknell Forest - ITP has supported Bracknell Forest on the development of their accessibility strategy to support the second Local Transport Plan. This has included the technical mapping work to underpin the strategy, the development and evaluation of the action plan, and the establishment of an evaluation programme and delivery partnerships.
